Count on Scott is a fictitious name we use to represent our multiple lines of Services these services are offered by the following three companies:

This privacy notice applies to personal and business information we collect when we process a commercial loan, provide tax service, and legal Document Prep. Service and other products and services to customers.

Social Security Numbers and other government identification numbers (e.g., EIN and ITIN)

Log-In Information (only if you choose to provide); and

Demographic Information.

We collect this information from the following categories and sources:

Information you voluntary provide. If you choose not to provide certain information we request, we may be unable to serve you as our products, services, tools or calculators may rely upon this information.

Information from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), other government entities, and certain non-affiliated third parties (e.g., credit reporting agencies).

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. In certain situations involving information collected for tax return preparation, loan processing and Legal Doc Services, we may be required to have your consent before we disclose this information.

• We do not sell or rent your information to third-party direct marketers.

• Where permitted by law, we may disclose your information to joint marketers and business partners with whom we have joint marketing agreements. We require all joint marketers to have written contracts with us that specify appropriate use of your information, require them to safeguard your information, and prohibit them from making unauthorized or unlawful use of your information.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

When you submit a support ticket or a comment, its metadata is retained until (if) you tell us to remove it. We use this data so that we can recognize you and approve your comments automatically instead of holding them for moderation.

If you register on our website, we also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except changing your username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We use the SSL/HTTPS protocol throughout our site. This encrypts our user communications with the servers so that personal identifiable information is not captured/hijacked by third parties without authorization.

In case of a data breach, system administrators will immediately take all needed steps to ensure system integrity, will contact affected users and will attempt to reset passwords if needed.

GENERAL RIGHTS

If you have a registered account on this website or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we retain, including any additional data you have provided to us.


You can also request that we erase any of the personal data we have stored. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
